Individual Member
Within this group there are various groups. They are:

a. Full Member
This is an individual membership for market researchers and market research users who have at least three years' experience in the industry. You are interested in furthering the aims and objectives of MRSM and intend to become a fully active and contributing Member of the Society.

b. Associate Member
This is an individual membership for market researchers and market research users who have less than three years' experience in the industry. You are interested in furthering the aims and objectives of MRSM and intend to become a fully active and contributing Member of the Society.

c. Student Member
You can apply to be a Student Member of MRSM if you are enrolled, either full-time or part-time in an approved tertiary course of study. This Student Membership will apply only for the calendar year of that course of study.

d. Life Member
Life Membership is an Individual Membership that may be granted, by invitation to individuals, who in the opinion of the Committee are well respected in the industry. This individual have made a significant contribution to the industry and has helped to advance the marketing research industry and its profession in Malaysia.

e. Honorary Member
Honorary Membership is an Individual Membership that is granted by invitation to individuals, who, by virtue of the position held in industry, academia or government, are in a position to develop, influence and enhance the image and practice of the marketing research industry and profession in Malaysia.


Corporate Membership
Corporate membership is applicable for any organisation incorporated or registered in Malaysia There are two (2) groups under Corporate membership. They are:

a. Research Corporate Member
This is appropriate to organizations, whose main source of income is marketing research and consultancies and is interested in furthering the aims and objectives of MRSM. A Research Corporate Member will be represented in the Society by one individual representative nominated by the organization. The nominee must have at least three years' experience in marketing research.

b. Non-Research Corporate Member
This will be suitable for organizations, whose main source of income are not marketing research but are interested in furthering the aims and objectives of MRSM. A Research Corporate Member will be represented in the Society by one individual representative nominated by the organization. The nominee must have at least three years' experience in marketing research.
